WEA Insurance Trust.

TRUST is not the word I would use to describe this insurance company.

Their long term health care policy is a sham. They keep changing the rules as they go & do not follow their own rules that they have set up.

I applied & was given coverage at first. Then they started to badgered me to fill out other forms that I found out later I had 24 months to fill out. They kept saying they would stop sending payments unless I filled out the forms. They did stop paying when I kept refusing to apply for other benefits. Then I discovered that I should have 24 months before I was required to fill out these forms or lose benefits.

They do not care about a person's health, only that their rules are met.

When you start to receive money from some other source, they cut back on what they pay. HOWEVER, they then require you to PAY BACK WHAT THEY HAVE ALREADY PAID YOU. They give you a lump sum & tell you not to spend it because if you receive money from another source you will have to repay them immediately.

We left the program & filed a complain with the insurance commission of WI. To this point, they have not responded in anyway to the commission.

To those with this program, many are teachers, look carefully at your policy. They may pay at first, but by the time they finish with you they have regained all they have paid you & you still owe them money.

Forms have to be filled out each month, even though the information has not & will not change from the first form you filled out.

The premiums for had been paid for 30 years & up until this point, never used by me. So, for 30 years they earned money off of me. But, they sure didn't want to pay out in benefits when I needed a little help.

Update on WEA Trust (correct term is UNTRUST) Insurance.

I received a reply from Robert DeZonnia Sr, Insuracne Examiner with the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance with the State of Wisconsin.

He stated that there have been other complaints against WEA, but not enough yet to list them in the "Bad File." I would urge all people that have had trouble with WEA to write to Mr. DeZonnia & file their complaints with the state. This is the only wwy we will get satisfaction & make sure that they stop the tactics they use to harass people. They need to realize that they are suppose to help people, not hinder their recovery.

I have a copy of the reply sent to MR. DeZonnia about my complaint. There are lies in the reply & they have tried to sound like they are my lawyer, giving me advice.

They gave me no advice on any thing that I did personaly as it pertains to my life. That is not their job.

As I have said in the past, & I will say again, they do not actually help, they hinder progress. They may pay you for a while, but in the end they will get their money back & more.
