I had a account with Heilig & Meyers for about fours years. I did pay late on a occassion due to inbetween paydays or I forgot. I purchased a riding lawn mower. It was in the shop twice within 6 months. Then once a again it would not crank or if it did crank it would not go into gear. So I called the manager and ask if he would take the lawn mower back and take it off my account. I told him I was not going to pay $2000.00 for a lawn mower that stayed in the shop more than action. We used it three times and every time it tore up. We have a acre lot with a mobile home. The manager told me no. I told him to come and get it I was not paying for it anymore. I also have bunkbeds, and 3 curios on my account. The bed I had paid on for 2years and curios I paid on for over a year. All together I paid $100.00 a month. To me the beds and curios should have been paid off. But not the lawn mower and interest rate. But they took everything I had back and I told them to close my account, that I would buy anything else from them. I felt like I got screwed once again.
