Med Resorts International Does Not Cut It!

I purchased a vacation package from Med Resorts International. They promised vacations with a 2 month notice and the lowest rates for airfare available. Here is what I discovered:
They cannot beat internet pricing for airfare.
They do not have a large network of resorts.
They cannot accomodate 2 month notice in all occasions. In fact, I gave them a 1 year notice and my request could not be met.
Please note...the vacation I did get from them was very pleasant. But certainly not worth the money.
If interviewing them with the intent of buying a vacation package, ask the following questions:
Why is there no website? How long is the average wait time when calling customer service? (My experience is 20 minutes.)
What resorts belong to Med Resorts International and which are rented (exchange)?
My conclusion is that they oversell their network. However, their deals on last minute trips appear very good. If you can give your boss a moments notice that you won't be available, these could be a very good deal. I also envy you if you can get away with that.
