October 29, 1998
Ordered Universal Dining Room furniture from HOUSE DRESSING, total $3,209.

April 27, 1999
Furniture in. Delivery when final payment received.

May 12
Final payment sent to HOUSE DRESSING.

May 21
SUN DELIVERY called, delivery next week.

May 28
Furniture arrived, 11.30am. Had to leave for airport by noon. China top had broken glass and woodwork of top was not finished properly. Didn't accept. China base not on truck. No explanation as to why. Upon returning from airport noticed table had two chips. Arm of one side chair didn't match other.

May 29
Faxed Customer Service, HOUSE DRESSING regarding above. Sent photos of table and side chair.

June 8
Received a letter from HOUSE DRESSING regarding repair to table and chair.

June 9
Sent letter to Sunny Vestal, Owner of HOUSE DRESSING asking his assistance in better communication with his Customer Service re: china top/base. My numerous phone messages not returned.

June 12
Letter from SUN DELIVERY. China top/base ready 3-4 weeks. Received letter from HOUSE DRESSING. Table and chair repaired 3-4 weeks.

July 18
Sent letter to the BBB, Greensboro re: lack of communication from HOUSE DRESSING.

July 29
Chair repaired. Table not satisfied. Not heard about china top/base. Called HOUSE DRESSING. Customer Service said china top/base ready for delivery next week. In Alaska Aug. 4 - Sept. 3. China top/base couldn't be delivered before Aug. 4, but early Sept.

August 13
Received copy of letter from Stevens, HOUSE DRESSING via BBB. China top/base ready for delivery.

September 7
Called SUN DELIVERY re: delivery of china top/base. Told it wasn't in warehouse and never was! Could not explain why I had in writing that it was there. Called Stevens, HOUSE DRESSING. My numerous voice messages weren't returned.

September 9
Called to speak with Sunny Vestal, Owner and got through to Stevens. She had ordered a third china top. Second one was damaged in SUN DELIVERY'S warehouse. Stevens didn't have the courtesy to call me re: the new order! Stevens said I should not have been out of town when the second china top/base was ready for delivery.

September 28
Received copy letter from Stevens via BBB stating furniture was damaged again due to being stored for one month in warehouse. A sales rep. at HOUSE DRESSING, told me furniture can be stored up to 45 days for free and then a charge is made, suggesting furniture is often stored in warehouse. Stevens suggested I have someone at my home to receive it. Due to the problems with HOUSE DRESSING and SUN DELIVERY, I did not want to place that responsibility with friends or family.

October 5
Letter from Stevens. China top is ready for delivery. Base is waiting on replacement top.

October 7
SUN DELIVERY called. Base to be delivered next week. China top not ready!

October 12
SUN DELIVERY called. Base had been damaged again. China top would be delivered within 7 - 10 days.

October 14
SUN DELIVERY called. China top/base to be delivered between October 18 - 21.

October 18
SUN DELIVERY called. China top was ready. Base not, damaged.

October 19
Telephoned SUN DELIVERY twice re: delivery of china top. Neither messages returned. A friend called though. China top wouldn't be delivered until base was ready. Advised Customer Service would call to straighten out. Never did.

October 25
Physically met with Terry of SUN DELIVERY. Saw china top/base waiting for repair. Stevens of HOUSE DRESSING also present, but did not speak with us. Delivery, 6-8 weeks.

December 22
Terry called. Furniture to be delivered next week. I'm out of town for 16 days. Delivery upon my return.

January 13, 2000
SUN DELIVERY called. Delivery next week.

January 17
SUN DELIVERY called. Delivery of china top/base tomorrow between 8.00am and 12.00pm.

January 18
SUN DELIVERY arrived 11.00am. No china top. Delivery personnel noticed it was damaged so did not load. SUN DELIVERY did not notify me. Base had half inch crack where right side meets right front. Didn't accept. Sent fax to SUN DELIVERY and HOUSE DRESSING regarding this.

January 20
Telephoned Terry of SUN DELIVERY. She did not receive fax. I telephoned Sunny Vestal, Manager of HOUSE DRESSING. Left a message for him to call me, regarding problems I have had with my furniture order.

January 24
Terry of SUN DELIVERY telephoned to say furniture would be delivered next week.

February 2
Called Terry of SUN DELIVERY. Furniture to be delivered next week!!! No communication from Sunny Vestal of HOUSE DRESSING.
