Downers Grove Med - A BAD Vacation

In March, we attended a Downers Grove Med resorts seminar, after being told that they were a full service travel agency and would guarantee lowest airfare. We had just purchased a vacation plan from another company and had no intention of buying another at this time, which we told their appointment setter who reassured us that they could help us with just the airfare, and give us a 3 night vacation to boot. Durinf the seminar we realized this was exactly what we didn't want and when they broke us into the couple/counselor room we told the fellow just that. I asked him if we could just purchase the GOLD CARD which guaranteed the lowest airfare, he excused himself and then brought back his boss who still tried to push this plan down our throat, and was rude when we didn't bite. They then had us wait for our free vacation, the bonus for attending the seminar, where they talked us into their World For Less program, which came with the Gold Card airfare promise. What a steal at $1798.00. If we paid in full that day we would get another $200.00 discount and a bonus of 20 coupons that would change our hotel package to upgraded condo's. I never received the coupons or an answer to the certified letter that I sent. I booked 4 internet airfare Tickets because their travel agency who I had on our second line quoted $40 higher and told me when I entered my credit card # they would not be available. When the transaction went through she just said sorry we can't beat internet fares. I called their V.P. of marketing several times who never answered his phone left voice mail saying I wanted our money back, and got no return call. I have gotten them to book me 2 Baymont Hotel vacations only because I kept bothering everyone there, ( 5 nights total) but still have another 21 left to fight for. I have researched the larger plan which had a starting price of $15,000 in March of this year and found that they have few condo weeks in the locations that they advetise, and I assume that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. That is how I got my booking which at first was also not available. They have made us many other promises that aren't so. I would like to get our money back and be rid of them, but they will not respond. I feel very sad for the members who bought the high dollar plan. It is a shame that a company would scam in a market that the American family so desperately needs today, A Reason To Spend Time TOGETHER!!!!!!!!
