Allstate Pays Only What It Has To!
name: D. L.
city: 80046
problem: 01/16/2000
My car was rear-ended by a driver that was insured by Allstate. I was forced to rent a vehicle (through no fault of my own), and Allstate had agreed to pay for it. State law requires me to have insurance on the rental so I signed up for it at the rate of $10/day. I had the car for 15 days. Allstate paid for my rental but informed me "we aren't required by law to pay the insurance on your rental car". Thus, as a result of being struck by an Allstate client, I'm out $150.00. The moral of the story? Don't get struck by an Allstate client!
