Have had vehicle insurance with Allstate for at least 36 - 38 years and was rear- ended 6/21/99 by an uninsured driver. Needless to say, my 1992 van which was appraised by City@ $6,370.00 was reimbursed at $2,900.00 by Allstate. When I contacted my lawyer, he said Allstate (along with another large company) was he absolute WORST insurance company not only to deal with but to collect from. It required 3-1/2 weeks to physically drive 45 miles in order to obtain my big $2,900 but replaced my 1992 vehicle with a 1986!

May I add, they have collected their LAST premium from this one!
